“Hoppers” (2026)

“Hoppers” is one of the best original Disney Pixar movies I’ve seen in years, and it tells a great story for all ages.

Harkening back to how we collectively fell in love with Pixar in the 1990s, “Hoppers” tells a story that is cute for the youngest viewers, provides genuine laughs and tells a resonant story about the impact of 21st century advancements on our climate and animals.

Mabel, a teenage climate activist, stumbles across a revolutionary experimental program at her local university that allows humans to inhabit robotic animals and experience the world just as a real animal would. She finds herself inhabiting an adorable beaver as a roadway construction project threatens to endanger the local forest that her beloved late grandmother was once the caretaker of.

As a vegan, I especially loved this story and all it has to offer. Whether you’re a vegan like me or not, I highly recommend seeing “Hoppers” no matter if you’re 3 or 30 or 93.
