“Fight or Flight” (2024)
“Fight or Flight” is the latest stop on Josh Hartnett’s comeback tour, and if you’re into wild ride action films, it is well worth taking a look.

Hartnett stars as an exiled, washed-up secret agent who has been reactivated to stop one of the most wanted criminals in the world.
All he knows is that this criminal, nicknamed The Ghost, is on the flight he is about to board.
After takeoff, we quickly discover that many of the other fliers are also there to seek out The Ghost, as there are multiple bounties on their head.
What follows is an hour and a half of bloody, brutal and desperate fight scenes set within the confines of a two-story commercial airplane.
Hartnett is definitely having fun as this bombastic character, and he clearly rises above most of the supporting cast, as almost all of them feel like plot devices instead of developed characters.
Ultimately, the movie is very silly and mostly a series of action sequences strung together by a thin plot.
This feels like an unhinged take on the John Wick series (with, frankly, a little more heart, in my honest opinion). They definitely teased the possibility of a “Fight or Flight” sequel (please title it “Fight or Flight 2: Ghost Protocol” if it happens), and I could see further development going into some of the characters to build a franchise.
I had fun watching “Fight or Flight,” but I don’t think it’s entirely necessary for more. (But I also thought that about “John Wick,” and look where we’re at now.)
